HARDWARE TECHNICAL TEAM LEADER for BMS Program

We are looking for a Technical Leadership role responsible for hardware design and development of Battery Monitoring Systems for EV/HEV vehicles. A deep knowledge on BMS (Battery Management System) systems and technologies is required. The contractor will be involved in all phases of an electronic product development, from the concept definition, until release for production going through prototype, design, and verification phases.

You will be part of a highly skilled cross-functional and cross-regional development team at the cutting edge of vehicle electrification technology.

Your duties will include:

• Understand customer requirements and translate them into a high-level architecture design.

• Strong expertise on analog design, microcontroller-based architectures, automotive communication buses (CAN, ISO-SPI, PMBus, …) and Vehicle-to-Grid communication standards.

• Demonstrated background on electrical safety and industry standards for High Voltage products design (IEC60664, IEC60950, UL840, …).

• Deliver and monitor an accurate and robust design using standard industry simulation tools.

• Lead technical communication with customer, other engineering areas, program management, suppliers, and quality teams.

• Knowledge in HV testing and automatization.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of HEV/EV Power distribution architectures.

• Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.

• Languages: English (mandatory, both written and spoken).

• Strong background on EMC design concepts, both schematic and PCB level, and design implications for the OEM EMC specification compliance.

• Experience in developments according to ISO 26262

• Know-how on cost-oriented designs.

• Tools: Doors, PSpice, Jira, MathCAD, DxDesigner.
