A functional tester validates the functionality of the electronic products before the delivery of the DUT to the end customer. It is the best solution to guarantee the quality levels for any microprocessor based electronic module.
The variables that are checked are adapted to the electronics characteristics of the DUT, including the following characteristics:
· Main microprocessor characteristics: cycle time, internal memory and pin-out.
· Inputs: digital, analog and PWM, pull-ups and pull-downs.
· Outputs: high-side, low-side, H-bridges, load current and diagnostics (open loads, short circuits).
· Pass-troughs.
· Communications: Ethernet, LIN, CAN, FlexRay, WiFi, BT, BLE, Lora, etc.
· Power consumption: active and sleep modes.
· DUT parameters configuration for field traceability.
